THE FOUNDER
Adam Jukes started on inline skates at 10, moved to ice at 11, and joined professional show skating at 17.
For the past 28 years, he has performed across ice, inline, pairs, acrobatic and circus skating on stages around the world, with companies including Cirque du Soleil, Disney On Ice, Royal Caribbean, Holiday on Ice and Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin.
He has worked as a chorus skater, soloist, principal and specialty-act headliner across more than 40 professional productions.
He is still performing. Still coaching. Still creating.
When Adam stepped back from full-time touring, he moved further into coaching. He worked with skaters across ice, inline and quad, and served as Head Coach at Rollerworld Colchester, one of the United Kingdom's leading roller rinks.
In that role, he tested the major inline figure skating systems available at the time. He found the same limitations repeated across them.
That is where ONE Blades began.
THE PROBLEM
01
Forward pressure and movement toward the pick.
02
Stable edges, turns and controlled skating.
03
Heel pressure, glide and landings.
A traditional three-wheel inline system creates two spaces between the wheels. The middle wheel acts as a pivot rather than creating a stable center skating platform.
A four-wheel system creates three spaces beneath the skater: front, center and rear.
That additional center platform changes how the skater controls edges, turns, spins, landings and transitions between the front and rear of the frame.
After testing the available systems and finding nothing that recreated this balance correctly, Adam decided to build the system from scratch.
EDGE was not adapted from a conventional inline frame.
It was engineered around the balance principles of figure skating.THE SYSTEM
Front, center and rear balance designed around the way figure skaters move.
Every wheel has its own adjustable rocker axle, allowing the profile of the system to be changed beneath the skater.
A pick designed around the angle, size and function required for figure skating technique.
The frame, wheels, rocker, balance and stopping system are designed to work together.
EDGE is the world's first inline figure skating frame with an independently adjustable rocker axle on every wheel.
It was engineered from figure skating principles rather than adapted from another form of inline skating.
Every decision begins with the skater: balance, control, edges, turns, spins, jumps, setup and long-term progression.
BEYOND THE PRODUCT
The product is only one part of what ONE Blades is building.
For decades, skaters have helped brands grow through coaching, demonstrations, competitions, recommendations and social media, often receiving little in return.
ONE Blades was built with a different philosophy.
The company sells directly to skaters, keeping the system simple and allowing more value to remain within the skating community.
CREATOR PLATFORM
Creators earn 10% when they introduce a new customer to EDGE, while that customer saves 10%.
The customer remains attributed to the creator who introduced them.

THE MISSION
Inline figure skating deserves equipment designed specifically for the way figure skaters move.
