What is ONE Blades?
ONE Blades is building the global inline figure skating movement through skater-first equipment, direct-to-consumer distribution, and a creator program that gives skaters, coaches, and parents a real share in the value they help create.
It was built by someone who has spent more than 35 years inside this sport at every level.
Built by a skater
Adam Jukes started on inline skates at 10, moved to ice at 11, and joined professional show skating at 17. Over the next two decades he performed across ice, inline, pairs, acrobatic, and circus skating on some of the biggest stages in the world. Cirque du Soleil. Disney On Ice. Royal Caribbean. Holiday on Ice. Friedrichstadt Palast Berlin. Four Got Talent appearances across three countries. The first ever WIFSA Senior Pairs World Champion with his partner Rosie.
He held roles as chorus skater, soloist, principal, and specialty act headliner across more than 40 professional productions. He is still skating. Still performing. Still coaching.
When he stepped back from full-time touring he moved into coaching. He worked with skaters across ice, inline, and quad, and served as Head Coach at Rollerworld Colchester, one of the UK's leading roller rinks. In that role he tested every inline figure skating frame available on the market. He found the same flaws repeated across all of them.
That is where ONE Blades began.
Built from a real problem
An ice blade has three balance zones. Toe pick area. Centre. Heel.
Three wheels create two balance zones. The centre wheel is a pivot, not a stable skating zone. Four wheels create three balance zones. Front, centre, rear.
Three wheels give two. Four wheels give three. Ice requires three. This is geometry, not opinion.
That missing centre is not a minor difference. It changes how edges feel, how turns work, how spins centre, and how jumps land. It is the reason ice figure skaters have struggled to find inline training that actually feels right.
After testing everything available and finding nothing that solved the problem correctly, the decision was made to build it from scratch. Not as a business idea. As a skater who knew exactly what was missing.
EDGE was designed around four wheels, an adjustable rocker axle on every wheel, and a pick built at the correct angle and size for figure skating technique. A frame engineered from ice skating principles, not adapted from something else.
Built for more than equipment
The product is only part of what ONE Blades is building.
The skating industry has consistently failed to give skaters a real share in the value they create. Skaters promote brands, grow communities, and drive awareness for years, usually for nothing in return.
ONE Blades is built differently. Every order funds the movement. Four pillars, all live.
The Creator Program pays skaters who grow the brand. Commission starts at 10 percent and scales to 25 percent based on lifetime referred revenue. Permanent progression. No resets. No quotas. The Skater Fund ships free EDGE systems to skaters who cannot afford them. Founder Edition contributes $200 per pair to the Skater Fund. Pay It Forward lets one skater buy a system for another.
Every order moves money toward skaters. No order moves money away from skaters.
The mission
Inline figure skating deserves better equipment, better systems, and better economics for the people who participate in it. That is what ONE Blades exists to build.
