ONE Blades Frame Sizing Guide
ONE Blades frames are sized using boot sole length in millimeters (mm).
This is the same measurement used by most figure skate boot manufacturers.
Do not choose your size based on shoe size alone.
Step 1. Measure your boot
-
Measure the sole length of your skating boot in millimeters
-
Or check the size label inside your boot or on the sole if it lists mm
-
If in doubt, measure heel to toe on the outsole
This number is what matters.
Step 2. Choose the correct frame
Each frame size supports boots up to 20 mm longer than the frame length.
This allows natural progression without compromising balance or control.
Frame Size Coverage
210 mm frame
Fits boots: 210–230 mm
Typical skaters: young skaters, approx. 6–8 years old
230 mm frame
Fits boots: 230–250 mm
Typical skaters: older children, small teens
250 mm frame
Fits boots: 250–270 mm
Typical skaters: teens and adults
Example: a 270 mm boot fits perfectly on a 250 mm frame. This is Adam's preferred set up.
270 mm frame
Fits boots: 270–290 mm
Typical skaters: larger adults
290 mm frame
Fits boots: 290–310 mm
Typical skaters: larger adults
Wheel Sizes by Frame
Each frame size is paired with wheels designed to preserve consistent skating feel.
-
210 mm frame → 59 mm wheels
-
230 mm frame → 64 mm wheels
-
250 mm frame → 68 mm wheels
-
270 mm frame → 72 mm wheels
Wheel size increases are intentional and maintain stability, glide, and control across all sizes.
Important Notes
- ONE Blades frames are currently available in four sizes: 210 mm, 230 mm, 250 mm, and 270 mm
- These sizes are based on measured boot lengths and cover boots from 210 mm to 290 mm
- This range supports the majority of junior, teen, and adult figure skaters
- Additional sizes may be introduced in the future based on real-world demand and testing
If you are between sizes
Choose the frame closest to your boot length, but not longer.
