Make Your AI
Know You.

02

Give AI the context
that changes the answer.

Generic context creates generic advice.

If you want AI to help with your actual life or work, it needs to understand the parts of you that change the answer.

At ONE Blades, the AI is more useful because it knows things like:

  • Skater First is non-negotiable.
  • ONE is direct to consumer.
  • Creator economics matter.
  • Phase 1 remains publicly focused on inline skating.
  • Certain product ideas have been retired.
  • Certain terminology is locked.
  • Simplicity matters.
  • Public explanations must reflect the real reason.

Without that context, AI can give perfectly reasonable advice that is completely wrong for ONE.

Your version should explain:

01

Who you are.

02

Where you came from.

03

What you are doing now.

04

What you want next.

05

Your work.

06

Your priorities.

07

Your strengths.

08

Your recurring problems.

09

Your non-negotiables.

10

How you make decisions.

11

How you want AI to communicate.

You do not need to share everything.

Only give the AI what is relevant to the areas where you want help.

Then save that context in a file you control.

The goal is not an AI
that knows everything about you.
It is an AI that knows
the right things about you.

THE WHOLE IDEA

Give AI the context that genuinely changes the advice it should give you.

Keep that context relevant, deliberate, and portable.

Personalization changes
the starting position.

AI is often blamed for giving generic answers when the information it received was generic.

That is not always the user's fault.

Models can still produce weak answers even with good context.

But personalization changes the starting position dramatically.

01

A real
ONE example.

Imagine I ask:

Should ONE introduce
distributors?

Generic business advice might say:

Distributors could expand reach, reduce logistics burden, and create faster geographic growth.

That is not stupid advice.

It is simply wrong for ONE.

Direct to consumer is a deliberate non-negotiable.

The business is being built around a different relationship with skaters and creators.

If the AI knows that, it does not waste time recommending a strategy that conflicts with the project.

The same is true for creator tiers.

A generic AI might suggest a tiered affiliate structure because that is common in other businesses.

But ONE has explicitly rejected that model.

Once that decision is part of the project context, the AI should stop casually reintroducing the dead idea.

02

Build a personal
context file.

The first useful document is about the person using the AI.

It does not need to be complicated.

A useful structure is:

01

Who I am

What is your background?

What experiences have shaped the way you think?

What roles do you currently have?

02

My life now

What are the main realities of your current life?

What responsibilities take most of your time?

What are you trying to improve?

03

My work

What do you do?

What are you building?

What are the biggest constraints?

Where are you strongest?

Where do you repeatedly struggle?

04

My future

What do you want one year from now?

Three years from now?

What are you trying to avoid?

What would success actually look like?

05

How I think

Do you want direct answers?

Do you want assumptions challenged?

Do you prefer one recommendation or several options?

Do you want concise answers or deeper reasoning?

06

My rules

What are your non-negotiables?

What principles should important decisions respect?

What should AI never casually suggest?

07

Communication

How should the AI write and speak to you?

What annoys you?

What terminology matters?

03

Let AI
interview you.

You do not need to sit down and write this file alone.

This is another place where people make unnecessary work for themselves.

Tell the AI:

I want to create a personal
context file so you can help me better.

Ask me the questions you need,
one area at a time.

Then answer naturally.

Use voice if that is easier.

The AI can organize the answers into a clean Markdown document at the end.

That is much easier than staring at a blank page.

04

Keep sensitive information
deliberate.

Personalization does not mean giving an AI every private detail of your life.

Ask a simple question:

Will this information
materially improve the help
I want from this project?

If not, it may not need to be included.

You can also maintain different context files for different purposes.

Your business AI project does not necessarily need the same information as your training or personal-planning project.

05

Make the context
portable.

The personal context should belong to you.

Do not make one AI provider the only place where your important context exists.

Save the file locally or in your own storage.

Markdown is useful here because it is simple, readable, and portable.

If you decide to use another AI system tomorrow, you can upload the same source file.

The model can change.

Your context
remains yours.

06

How this translates
outside ONE.

Your rules might have nothing to do with skating.

A TEACHER

  • Student understanding matters more than finishing the lesson plan.
  • Never fabricate citations.
  • Explain difficult ideas in plain language.
  • Protect student privacy.

A PARENT

  • Family time matters more than maximizing income.
  • Avoid plans that require constant travel.
  • Do not optimize every decision purely around money.

A FREELANCER

  • Protect creative control.
  • Never recommend work below a defined minimum rate.
  • Prefer fewer high-quality clients.

The content is different.

The method is the same.

Give AI the principles
that actually change
your decisions.

The model does not need
to know everything.
It needs to know
the right things.

Give AI the context that actually changes the answer.
