ONE Blades World Open
The ONE Blades World Open is a new global platform for inline figure skaters on ONE Blades EDGE.
It is not a traditional competition.
It is designed to showcase skating as movement, skill, creativity, and expression, without forcing every skater into the same definition of success.
The World Open exists to give inline figure skaters a respected, modern stage that reflects how skating actually looks today.
What It Is
The World Open is built around two connected parts:
Showcase
Complete skating. Flow, control, artistry, athleticism, and creativity evaluated together.
Skills Battles
Short, high-intensity performances focused on extreme skill, difficulty, and execution.
One system. Two purposes.
Who It Is For
The World Open is for:
-
Inline figure skaters at all stages
-
Beginners building fundamentals
-
Creative and artistic skaters
-
Elite and high-difficulty athletes
-
Pairs, groups, and solo skaters
-
Skaters who want visibility without politics or legacy barriers
Skaters are not divided by tests, medals, or background.
They are evaluated by intent and execution.
Why It Exists
Modern skating lost balance.
The World Open restores it without removing difficulty or ambition.
Complete skating matters again.
Extreme skill still has a place.
Timeline
